NEW GRAVEL WEEKEND WITH STAGE RACE AND UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES IN WINTERBERG
In its fifth year, 3RIDES is once again setting the tone for the German gravel scene with a new destination and a new concept. From July 17 to 19,
The gravel program in the cycling and winter sports stronghold in the Sauerland is rounded off by three rides, gravel tours without timekeeping, over attractive routes of 100, 150 and 200 kilometers in length.

"In the four years of 3RIDES, we have not only observed the scene closely, but of course also listened very carefully to the wishes and needs of our participants," says Björn Müller, CEO of 3RIDES. "Two themes have recently become increasingly apparent. That is pure gravel, i.e. races and offers with varied and challenging routes, with a high proportion of unpaved paths and the combination of several races in one event, which optimizes the ratio of travel expenses to racing fun."
This means that 3RIDES is breaking new ground twice in summer 2026 - and has found the perfect partner in Winterberg. "Cycling is hugely important for the destination," says Müller. "And it is important for us that the Winterberg region, with its network of possible routes, also meets all the sporting demands we place on 3RIDES."

The 3RIDES Gravel Winterberg program consists of a gravel time trial over 20 kilometers and with around 500 meters of elevation gain on Friday, a second stage of 80 or 120 kilometers with 2000 or 3000 meters of elevation gain, depending on the age group, and the UCI Gravel World Series race as the finale, which is 98 or 147 kilometers long with 2400 or 3600 meters of elevation gain. It is possible to register for individual stages as well as for the entire program. Participants who ride all three stages will also be included in an overall ranking.
Those who register by the end of November will benefit from a 15 to 20 percent early bird discount.
